Major League Baseball (MLB) and Techniques for Effective Alcohol Management
Coalition (TEAM) collaborated for the sixth year in a row rewarding the First Prize Winner of the Responsibility Has Its Rewards Sweepstakes for Designated Drivers with a trip to the 2010 MLB All-Star Game. This year's winner is the Chicago White Sox Designated Driver for the Season Edward Rosenthal. Mr. Rosenthal's prize includes all of the following:
Two tickets to the 2010 MLB All-Star Game
Two tickets to the State Farm Home Run Derby
Two tickets to All-Star Fan Fest
Roundtrip airfare and hotel accomodations
Other All-Star activities at which TEAM Coalition promoted responsibility included:
All-Star FanFest: At the TEAM Coalition Responsibility Has Its Rewards booth, fans who made the pledge to always buckle-up and never drive drunk were then asked to autograph a banner to affirm their commitment to responsibility.
The 8 foot by 10 foot banner, covered in signatures, will be displayed at Angel Stadium for the remainder of the 2010 baseball season.
Fans also received a souvenir photo with the campaign message and partner logos printed on the border of the photos.
Finally, daily prize drawings rewarded responsible fans with autographed baseballs among other items.
All-Star Game Charity Fun Run Presented by Sport Authority and Nike TEAM Coalition brought the responsibility banner out to the second annual Fun Run so that the runners could autograph it and affirm their commitment to never driving drunk and always having a designated driver.
More than 500 runners made the pledge to be responsible and autographed the banner.
And one lucky runner was randomly drawn as the winner of an autographed Angels baseball and other All-Star items.
