The TEAM Coalition and Major League Baseball® joined together in support of designated driver
programs at all MLB stadiums during the 2005 season with a special
incentive.
Over 225,000 fans registered to be a designated driver, pledged to not drink alcohol,
drove their friends and family home safely, and ensured that everyone
always buckled up.
At the end of the season, one designated driver from each ballpark was
selected to represent the home Club for that ballpark. Click here for Designated Drivers
for the Season from each MLB Club. The selected
Designated Drivers for the Season from the Clubs that competed in the World Series® beginning on
October 22, 2005 each received
two (2) tickets to the first game of the series played at the ballpark of their
favorite MLB Club.
A trip to the 2006 MLB All-Star Game® in Pittsburgh, PA has also been awarded to the Designated Driver
selected for the Season from the Texas Rangers.
The All-Star Game® trip includes two (2) tickets to
the game, roundtrip airfare, and hotel accommodations (if necessary).
