TEAM Coalition and the National Basketball Association® joined together in support of designated driver
programs at all NBA arenas during the 2008-2009 season with a special
incentive.
60,000 fans registered to be a designated driver, pledging not to drink alcohol,
to drive their friends and family home safely, and to ensure that everyone
always buckles up.
At the end of the season, one designated driver from each arena was
selected to represent the home team for that arena. Click here for Designated Drivers
