The Chicago Bears along with their partners - MillerCoors, Delaware North Companies Sportservice, the Illinois Department of
Transportation, and TEAM Coalition - have joined forces for the 2009 NFL season to encourage 10,001 Bears fans to pledge to be designated drivers at
Soldier Field.
At each home game of the season, including the two preseason games and eight regular season games,
fans who make the pledge to be designated drivers also have a chance to win valuable prizes. As part of the "You Hold the Key Never Drive Drunk"
program for designated drivers, every fan who pledges will receive a key. Fans will use their keys to try to unlock the treasure chest of prizes located on the main concourse of Soldier Field.
Lucky designated drivers whose keys unlock the treasure chest will receive a special prize. Every fan who pledges to be a designated driver will receive a complimentary soft drink, even
if their key doesn't unlock on the treasure chest.
At the end of the season, one Chicago Bears fan who pledged to be a designated driver during the season will be selected randomly as the
Designated Driver for the Season for the Chicago Bears. If the Bears compete in Super Bowl XLIV®, the Bears Designated Driver for the Season will
win the grand prize of the Responsibility Has Its Rewards sweepstakes - a trip to the Super Bowl. The grand prize includes two tickets to
Super Bowl XLIV®, airfare and hotel accommodations (if necessary).
